Purpose

• To partner with the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency (ARORA) to promote organ, tissue and eye donation through various events and programs.
• To assist ARORA in developing volunteers (donor families and recipients) to participate in public speaking events educating the public about donation.
• To work closely with ARORA to ensure programs for donor families are effective.
• To provide emotional support to donor families during their grief experiences.
• To create an environment where donor families can participate with other donor families and recipients in events and programs which increase awareness about donation.
• To encourage and support donor families to attend and/or volunteer at donor family events sponsored by ARORA like the Transplant Games, the Donor Recognition Ceremony, Hope for the Holidays, etc.
